International Delegations

The Arizona SciTech Festival team works to leverage the Arizona SciTech Festival Strategy to build collaborations around the world.

In September 2013 a team of teachers from the Marie Curie School in Bogata, Columbia visited Arizona to meet various Arizona SciTech Festival collaborators and bridge partnerships. A special thanks to Roy Smollens, who helped to translate during the trip, and the 12+ collaborators who made special time to meet with their new friends. In February of 2014, they returned with a delegation of 15 including 9 students for the 2014 Arizona SciTech Festival hosted by the City of Chandler thanks to Odette Moore.
