2017 Session: “Mentorship 101: Mentorship in Motion”

Track: Community STEM Action & Volunteerism 

Learn how to be a good mentor and why mentoring works.  Explore how Arizona STEM professional are engaging with local middle and high schools and ways you can partner with schools and students in your area.


Session Format:

1. Panel Introduction (5 minutes)

2. Panel Discussion (20 minutes) – panelists share their experience and impact of being a mentor and/or mentee and tips for being an effective mentor.

3. Round Table Discussion (20 minutes) – panelists will join attendees in small round table discussions to answer any questions regarding mentorship experience, tips and opportunities to engage with mentees.
